Murder on Halloween!

In October 2014, Lord Gothingham invites Detective Cheerie (large male cream colored cat) and I (Bentley Brighton) to a large Halloween costume party be held at Gothingham Hall. Detective Cheerie and I visit a costume shop owned by a friend. All Detective Cheerie needs to wear is his official Scotland Yard badge attached to his blue leather collar. When we arrive at the party there is a large crowd of people. Detective Cheerie wanders away from me. I soon find him in the foyer staring at the painting of Isabella and her cat Sir Octavius.The very gifted artist (Gustave Montclair) created a masterpiece when he painted them fifteen years ago when Isabella was five years old. The painting is mesmerizing to look at. But, there is soon a murder at the Halloween party.
