Author and poet Marisa L. Williams strolls through the Valley of Shadows in prose poetry verse. The essence of serious topics is boiled down to one handwritten page, with each page illuminating another shadow. By writing about topics like molestation, suicide, guys walking from pregnant women, and bisexuality, the shadows are brought to the light of day, opening them up for consideration by others with the hopes that acknowledgement may spur prevention.
