A Rare and Special Collection

The collection refers to the writings within the book which are items that the author has collected together over the last few years. They are from magazines, newspapers and books spanning over a hundred years. Some are by members of the Dixon family, others by experts in their own research fields. The author-editor has also put together some chapters after making visits and interviewing people who have links to the firm or knowledge about it or the products it manufactured. It is thus a special collection in celebration of James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield.
