FAMILY BUSINESS

You cannot pick your relatives. Almost all individuals in any family business will reiterate that many times. Especially if they happen to be the youngest of the lot. The rest of them never forget what a little beastie he was when he was five or six or even sixteen. And they will never forgive him. And he, of course, will never forgive them either. It’s the nature of the beast I suppose. It isn’t anyone’s fault. Perhaps, because they are family, such forgiveness should be expected, but as often as not, it isn’t.
